Understand the file
We go through the list together: what is in it, who needs what? The fixed price follows.
First version
After a few days a clickable state with your real data.
Sharpening up
Test it in daily work, close the gaps.
Handover
Documentation, credentials, source code. Maintenance optional — cancellable monthly.
Maintenance yes — dependency no.
You pay for the solution once, after that it belongs to you: full source code, all credentials, documentation. Technology does need care, of course — which is why I offer maintenance (Updates, backups, monitoring, small extensions, a short line to me). It is cancellable monthly.
You can leave at any time and change developer — I deliberately build so that anyone else can take over. Loyalty should come from usefulness, not from a contract.

Frequent questions
What gets asked beforehand.
Isn’t there ready-made software for this already?
Sometimes there is — and then I tell you which. But if you would have to bend your workflow to the software instead of the other way round, your own tool is often cheaper than years of licences.
Where does the program run?
On your server, at a German hosting provider or looked after by me — as you prefer.
Can it grow later?
Yes. I come from database development with millions of records at the Otto Group — I build so that it grows with you.
