When something has to be built: projects with an AI pipeline, a fixed price per milestone.

My take on a rather important question — told in four pictures: a birthday cake, a superhero cape, an ID card and a fishing net.
Hello dear readers, today I would like to talk about whether companies need a website. I know what you are thinking: “Oh no, not that same old advice that marketing people keep throwing at us.” But let me tell you: this is not just old advice, it is advice that is just as important as brushing your teeth every day or choosing the right shoe for the right occasion.
Imagine you are a small child and it is your birthday. You have been looking forward to this party so much, and you know your friends will come. But when they arrive there is no cake, no decoration and no games. How would you feel? Disappointed, sad and maybe even a bit angry, right?
The same goes for companies without a website. It is the digital equivalent of a birthday party without a cake: you do have a business — but when potential customers search for you online, they find nothing. No information about your products or services, no way to get in touch, no way to order online. That is not just disappointing, it is a missed opportunity.
But it is not only about reaching potential customers. A website is also a great tool for presenting your brand and your identity. Imagine you are a superhero and your website is your cape. Without the cape you are still a superhero — but you do not look as cool, and your powers do not come across. With the cape you are recognisable at once, and your powers feel far stronger.
A website can therefore help to strengthen your brand and set you apart from the competition — and it raises your credibility.
Imagine you are an alien and you land on Earth. You have no ID and no papers to prove who you are. People will probably not believe you and will take you for a crank.
That is exactly how it goes for companies without a website: if potential customers find no information about your products or services, they will not trust you and will pick a different provider. With a website you can raise your credibility and convince customers that you are the right choice.
And finally there is another important reason: SEO. Imagine you are a fisherman with the best rod in the world. But if you do not know where the fish are, you still catch nothing. The same goes for companies without a website: even with the best products or services in the world, potential customers will not find you if you do not show up on the first page of the search results on Google & co.
With a professional website and targeted search engine optimisation (SEO) you raise your visibility online and draw the attention of potential customers — like a fishing net you cast to catch as many fish as possible.
A website is indispensable for companies — birthday cake, superhero cape, ID card and fishing net in one. It is not just a digital business card, it is a marketing channel and an instrument for customer loyalty.
So: if you do not have a website yet, it is high time. And if you already have one, ask yourself whether it is still up to date and represents your brand well enough. In that spirit — have fun baking cakes, wearing capes, showing ID cards and catching fish!
