A new website for the support group
for children with cancer, Amberg-Sulzbach.

A pro bono project: together with the board we built the modernised web presence of Selbsthilfegruppe krebskranker Kinder Amberg-Sulzbach e.V. — for families who need help, and for a good cause.

Together for a good cause.

Selbsthilfegruppe krebskranker Kinder Amberg-Sulzbach e.V. supports children with cancer and their families: it provides information about available help, visits the families where they live and offers financial support. The board works on a voluntary basis, and the aid itself is financed through donations.

To contribute something myself, I took on the modernisation of the web presence free of charge — in close, active cooperation with the group’s board. With a great deal of creative and constructive feedback we were able to carry the project through together.

A new website with a content management system.

At www.krebskranker-kinder-amberg-sulzbach.de families can now find information directly and get in touch with the support group. The platform offers more than that: making donations, reading up on current DKMS figures — and, most importantly, following the group’s events, situations and reports.

The website was built with the CMS Joomla!. The members publish their news posts with images and text themselves.

Thank you!

Let me once again thank the group’s board warmly for the wonderful cooperation: Petra Waldhauser, Marco Kind, Angela and Thomas Sperber as well as Reinhold Baumgärtner gave constructive feedback — we shaped the entire project together and actively. Ulrike Zitzmann joined afterwards; perhaps I will get to meet her in person during further adjustments. Warm greetings to all of you!

What became of this business.

This post is from an earlier time — today I bring AI & IT into mid-sized companies.
