A thank you to
Regensburg University Hospital.

Appreciation is often hard to put into words — and still worth showing. This post is a thank you to the teams of the ENT wards at Regensburg University Hospital (UKR).

2022: A projector for further training.

To support the continuous training and education of the ward teams, in 2022 I handed over a projector together with a screen. The gift is meant to help the dedicated teams at Regensburg University Hospital broaden their knowledge and refine work that is already excellent.

2023: A coffee machine for the short breaks.

In 2023 a coffee machine followed — a symbol for short breaks and moments of calm in a hectic working day. Coffee, often called an “elixir of life”, offers a brief time out and is a reminder of the small joys of life. In a setting where the teams often work under high pressure, that coffee is far more than a drink: it is a moment to pause and enjoy.

Small gestures, real gratitude.

Appreciation and recognition can often be shown through small gestures. They are not only gifts — they are signs of gratitude.

May we all be inspired to recognise and honour those who bring light in our darkest hours.

Thank you very much for this opportunity.
